What's with the leech detection?
« on: December 08, 2008, 11:10:47 AM »
I decided to download any of the ST disks with adventures, but when I click on the disk download icon, I get a leech detection page. What gives? I'm just using an ordinary, everyday browser (Firefox, of course), not some sort of automated download tool.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Hi Garry

I also use Firefox and it seems to download the ST disks OK - sure you don't have some kind of additional download manager working in the background? The leech screen should only kick in if the links are accessed indirectly (i.e. from another site) or someone tries to do an automated mass download, so your experience seems a bit strange.

p.s. next issue will be online soon :)
